Shot on 8mm film in 1952, this vintage home movie captures a peacock roaming freely in a sun-dappled outdoor enclosure. The bird's iridescent blue neck and green back stand out against the gravel path and grassy background. An older individual in a light-colored shirt is seen bending down, appearing to feed the peacock. The footage shows natural movement and the characteristic grain and color saturation of mid-century amateur film. A later frame reveals a sign for the American Psychiatric Association meeting, May 12–16, 1952, suggesting a possible location or event context. The clip offers authentic archival footage of wildlife and daily life from the early 1950s.
