Group in Red Hats at Dock on Chelan Lake — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures a group of people at a wooden dock on the edge of a lake in Chelan, Washington. Several individuals, including men and a woman, wear period clothing and red hats, standing and moving near a small boat. The scene unfolds against a backdrop of rugged, tree-covered hills under a clear sky, with the water reflecting the blue tones of the film. The footage exhibits natural film grain and slight motion blur, conveying a candid, nostalgic moment from a mid-20th century lakeside outing.
