Fishermen Gathered On The Dock By The Lake And Boat — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures a group of people gathered on a wooden dock by a large lake in Chelan, Washington. Men and women in period attire, including wide-brimmed hats and sweaters, wait near a small motorboat. Some sit on the dock while others stand or lean, suggesting a ferry stop or a day trip. The scene unfolds under bright sunlight, with a rugged, tree-dotted hillside in the background. The footage exhibits natural film grain and color fading typical of Super 8 home movies from the era, offering authentic archival footage for documentaries, historical projects, or nostalgic content.
