Shot on 8mm film in 1946, this vintage home movie captures a tender moment between a man and a young child sitting on the grass in a front yard. The man, wearing a light-colored sweater over a collared shirt, holds the toddler, who is dressed in a dark sweater and blue pants. They are positioned in front of a brick house with a green metal railing and shrubbery. The footage shows them interacting closely, with the man leaning in to kiss the child on the cheek. The warm, slightly faded colors and visible film grain evoke a nostalgic, intimate family memory from the post-war era.
