Children On White Vintage Cupid Float — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage home movie captures a festive parade float from the Ringling Brothers circus in Sarasota, Florida. Children in formal attire sit atop a white, ornate float adorned with cupids and classical sculptures, while men in top hats and period costumes guide the float. The scene unfolds against a backdrop of circus tents and red railcars, with a nostalgic, slightly faded color palette characteristic of mid-century home movies. The handheld camera movement adds to the authentic, personal feel of this archival footage.
