A young girl in a red and white bathing suit prepares to dive into a backyard swimming pool in Lynbrook, New York, 1971. Shot on 8mm film, the clip captures her crouching at the edge, then falling backward into the water with a splash. The scene unfolds in a sun-drenched suburban backyard with lush green trees, a house in the background, and a blue pool ladder. Another child plays in the pool with a yellow float. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color fading, and motion blur, evoking a nostalgic, authentic 1970s home movie feel.
