Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage home movie captures a woman and her children at a zoo in Washington DC. A woman in a dark floral dress stands with a young girl in a red and white plaid dress, observing animals in an enclosure with rock formations and green trees. The footage shows the girl walking along a chain-link fence, watching goats and other animals. The warm, slightly faded colors and visible film grain evoke a nostalgic, mid-century Americana feel, perfect for historical documentaries or retro-themed projects.
