Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage home movie captures a sunny day at a zoo in Washington DC. A young boy in a striped shirt and black shorts steps over a tan rope barrier, while a girl in a plaid dress stands nearby. In the background, deer graze within a rocky enclosure surrounded by lush green grass and trees. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, slight color fading, and natural movement, offering authentic archival footage of mid-century family life and public recreation.
