Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s Utah outdoor recreation sequences needing candid home-movie footage of adults on a river trip in life vests.
Period detail: The hats, sunglasses, orange flotation vests, and Super 8 color may show late-1960s leisure clothing and river-safety gear.
Home-movie behavior: The group looks toward the camera from a raft or boat, smiling and shifting naturally in an unstaged vacation moment.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adults in orange life vests, brimmed hats, sunglasses, dark river water, a raft edge, and sunlit faces.
Film character: The clip has handheld Super 8 texture with soft focus, dense shadows, warm color, visible grain, and exposure changes under bright sun.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a brief insert, memory beat, or cutaway for rafting, summer travel, or family vacation coverage.
Historical context: The footage documents mid-century recreational river travel as seen through a private home-movie camera, without identifying the group.
Research note: Adults' faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos or private property are apparent, and copyright clearance is separate.
Research search match: Search matches include 1969 Utah rafting home movie, Super 8 river trip, adults in life vests, and 1960s outdoor recreation footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with the same reel, then other Utah 1969 river or travel footage, then broader 1960s boating and outdoor recreation scenes.
