Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1960s Utah river recreation footage for productions needing a brief home-movie view of leisure, rafting gear, and outdoor travel culture.
Period detail: The pink patterned bikini, yellow sun hat, inflatable raft, canvas bags, and packed sleeping gear may show late-1960s river-trip clothing and equipment.
Home-movie behavior: The woman appears relaxed and aware of the camera while sitting among trip supplies, giving the scene an informal vacation-record quality.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a silver inflatable raft, a woman in a bikini and yellow hat, red storage boxes, green bedding or sleeping bags, packed bags, cups, and a rocky canyon wall.
Film character: The 8mm scan has saturated color, visible grain, slight handheld framing, and uneven exposure that give the short scene a physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a compact cutaway, memory beat, or transitional insert for 1960s river travel, camping, or summer recreation sequences.
Historical context: The clip documents casual outdoor leisure on a raft with visible camping supplies, reflecting a private travel moment rather than an identified public event.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed in addition to any copyright analysis; no visible logos or private property are apparent.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1969 Utah 8mm river trip, woman sunbathing on raft, vintage rafting gear, 1960s bikini home movie, and canyon recreation footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1969 Utah river footage, then broader 1960s camping, rafting, and outdoor leisure material.
