People Ice Skating on Frozen Lake — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1955, this vintage home movie captures a group of people enjoying ice skating on a frozen lake in Idaho. The footage shows individuals in winter coats and hats carefully gliding across the ice, with some using poles for balance. The scene unfolds under a clear sky, with a forested shoreline visible in the background. The warm, slightly faded color palette and natural film grain evoke a strong sense of nostalgia, offering authentic archival footage of winter recreation from the mid-20th century.
