SOUTHAMPTON NEW YORK-1937: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a sunny day at a private poolside. Women in classic 1930s swimsuits and dresses gather around the pool, with one woman in a dark swimsuit preparing to jump. A red Adirondack chair sits on the patio, and lush trees frame the scene. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows natural movement and a grainy, nostalgic quality, with a distinct blue color cast in some frames. The atmosphere is relaxed and joyful, capturing a moment of leisure and socializing in the 1930s.
