Shot on 8mm film in 1937, this vintage home movie captures a sunny day at a private pool in Southampton, New York. A woman in a dark swimsuit stands near the diving board while another sits on a red Adirondack chair, watching children swim. The footage shows people walking, sitting, and enjoying the water, with a distinct purple color cast typical of early color film. The scene exudes mid-century American leisure, with classic swimsuits and a relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere. This archival clip offers authentic 1930s family recreation footage for documentaries, historical projects, or nostalgic content.
