INDIANA-1959: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a sunny day in a suburban backyard where three adults and a child play badminton. One man wears a light-colored shirt and white pants, another is shirtless in shorts, and a young boy in a white t-shirt and shorts joins the game. The scene unfolds on a green lawn bordered by dense hedges and trees, with a small brick shed visible in the background. The footage shows the players in motion, hitting the shuttlecock, and enjoying a casual game of recreation under bright sunlight. The film exhibits characteristic 8mm grain and soft focus, evoking a nostalgic, authentic slice of mid-century American family life.
