Young Boy Playing on Seesaw in Park — Clip Details

A young boy in a light-colored cap and dark jacket plays on a seesaw at a sunlit park in New York, 1947. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures his movements as he pushes the plank, climbs aboard, and balances on the playground equipment. The scene is framed by a dark border, with visible film grain and color shifts typical of vintage home movies. In the background, metal benches and a chain-link fence line the paved area, evoking a nostalgic mid-century American neighborhood. The natural lighting and casual action reflect a candid moment of childhood play from the late 1940s.
