A vintage 8mm home movie from 1939 captures a woman in a dark one-piece bathing suit and swim cap wading into the water at Long Lake, Canada. The grainy black-and-white footage shows her stepping into the lake, creating ripples, while another swimmer is visible in the distance. The scene evokes a nostalgic summer day, with the classic film grain and soft focus characteristic of home movies from the era. The footage offers authentic archival material for historical or nostalgic projects.
