A young child with curly blonde hair sits in a bathtub, soap suds covering their head as an adult's hands gently wash their hair. Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this intimate home movie captures a tender moment of bath time with warm, slightly faded colors and visible film grain. The child, seen in profile, appears calm and engaged in the routine, offering a nostalgic glimpse into domestic life in mid-20th century America. The footage, with its authentic imperfections and personal feel, is ideal for historical documentaries, editorial content, and nostalgic storytelling.
