Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage footage captures a line of elephants adorned with colorful blankets being led through the circus grounds in Sarasota, Florida. Handlers in dark uniforms guide the animals past red storage trailers and white tents under bright daylight. The grainy, slightly faded color palette and visible film edge evoke authentic mid-century home movie nostalgia. This archival clip offers a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operations of the Ringling Brothers circus during its historic Sarasota season.
