ALASKA-1946: Two people ride a donkey along a sunlit dirt path through a rugged canyon landscape. The rider in front wears a white top and blue pants, while the second person sits behind. The donkey walks steadily across uneven terrain, its shadow stretching across the dry, textured ground. Shot on 8mm film, the footage shows natural grain, warm sunlight, and a nostalgic, handheld perspective. The scene captures a quiet moment of rural life in mid-20th century Alaska, with the vast, open canyon surrounding the pair. This authentic home movie offers a rare glimpse into everyday travel and transportation in a remote region.
