Beagle Puppy In Yard Near Gate — Clip Details

A young beagle puppy with brown and white markings sits attentively on a sunlit grassy yard in Racine, Wisconsin, 1972. The dog wears a collar and looks around curiously, its long ears drooping as it sits near a chain-link fence. Dandelions dot the green lawn, and the footage captures the natural charm of a vintage 8mm home movie. In a later moment, a person in light clothing opens a gate, interacting with a larger black dog. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, soft focus, and warm color tones typical of 1970s home recordings.

What appears in frame: Visible elements include a beagle puppy, green lawn, dandelions, wire fencing, a pale wall or door, a gate, and a larger black dog.
Film character: The scan has soft focus, visible grain, mild exposure variation, and contact-sheet framing that reads as authentic home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a brief pet cutaway, domestic memory beat, or transition into family-yard and neighborhood material.
Historical context: The footage offers small-scale visual context for household pets, fenced yards, and casual outdoor routines in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1972.
Research note: People and animals are visible, so likeness, location, and property context may need review separate from any copyright assessment.
