Shot on 8mm film in 1976, this vintage home movie captures a marching band parade in Lynbrook, New York. The footage, bathed in a distinct purple tint likely from film degradation, shows band members in white uniforms and hats marching down a street lined with spectators. A nun in a dark habit walks among the crowd, observing the procession. Parked cars and suburban houses form the backdrop, with the handheld camera following the band's movement. The grainy, low-light quality and slight motion blur evoke a nostalgic, authentic slice of mid-70s Americana.
