Two People Swimming Backwards In A Pool Of Water While — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures youth swimmers practicing in a pool in Yonkers, New York. Two individuals swim backwards through the water, creating splashes, while others watch from the poolside. A wooden diving board is visible, and one swimmer wears a white swim cap. The footage shows natural film grain and slight color fading, characteristic of mid-century amateur recordings. This archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into 1950s recreational swimming and youth activities.
