Kids Competing At Swim School — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures two young boys competing in a swim school event in Yonkers, New York. The footage shows them actively swimming in a pool, creating splashes as they move through the water. The scene is characterized by the distinct blue tint and grainy texture of 8mm film, with visible film scratches and edge damage adding to its authentic archival quality. The boys wear dark swim trunks, and the camera remains steady, focusing on their effort and movement in the water.
