Man Doing Belly Flop into Pool — Clip Details

A young man in white swim trunks stands at the edge of a backyard pool in Yonkers, New York, 1953. He prepares to jump, then executes a classic belly flop into the water, creating a large splash. Other people relax on towels on the grass nearby, while a chain-link fence and trees form the background. Shot on 8mm film, this vintage home movie captures a candid moment of summer fun with authentic grain and color saturation typical of the era.
