Young Boy Swimming in Backyard Pool — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures a young boy swimming in a backyard pool in Yonkers, New York. The footage shows the child splashing and moving through the turquoise water, wearing red swim trunks, with a ladder visible at the pool's edge. The grainy, color-bleached quality of the Super 8 film gives it a nostalgic, authentic 1950s feel. This archival clip offers a candid glimpse into mid-century American childhood recreation and family life.
