Young Person Swimming In A Pool Using The Dog Paddle — Clip Details

A young person swims in a backyard pool using the dog paddle, captured on 8mm film in 1953. The swimmer, wearing dark trunks, moves through the turquoise water with a relaxed, playful motion. The footage shows natural film grain and slight color fading typical of vintage home movies, with the swimmer’s head and arms visible above the surface. The scene evokes a nostalgic summer day, with the water’s surface rippling around the swimmer. This authentic 8mm home movie offers a candid glimpse into mid-century leisure and family life.
