A Group Of Four Swimmers On Blocks Dive Into A Pool To — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures a youth swimming competition at a backyard pool in Yonkers, New York. Young male swimmers in dark swim trunks line up on white starting blocks, poised for the race. The scene is framed by a clothesline with towels and a house in the background, evoking a nostalgic, community sports moment from the 1950s.
