Swimming Boys Racing For The Win — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures a youth swimming competition at a public pool in Yonkers, New York. Young boys in dark swim trunks race through the turquoise water, their arms cutting through the surface as they compete. Spectators sit on the pool deck, watching intently as swimmers dive and race. The footage shows classic Super 8 film grain, color fading, and natural camera movement, offering authentic archival footage of mid-century American youth sports and community life.
