Nice House With Piscine Garden And The Owner Go Around — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1953, this vintage home movie captures a sun-drenched residential scene in New Mexico. The footage features a charming yellow stucco house with a red tile roof and white shutters, surrounded by a manicured garden with palm trees and flowering plants. A swimming pool with a concrete deck and lounge chairs is visible, with people relaxing under a blue umbrella. The warm, slightly faded colors and film grain evoke a nostalgic mid-century American lifestyle, offering authentic archival footage for documentaries, period pieces, or nostalgic content.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1950s 8mm residential exterior useful for period documentary inserts, domestic lifestyle sequences, or mid-century leisure context.
Period detail: The stucco house, clay tile roof, shutters, pool deck, metal lounge chairs, and umbrella may show a mid-century Southwestern residential setting.
Home-movie behavior: The camera lingers like a visitor or family member recording the pool, garden, and house rather than staging a formal property view.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a swimming pool, stucco house, red tile roof, shutters, palm trees, patio furniture, garden beds, and a blue umbrella.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows saturated daylight color, visible grain, soft focus, slight gate edges, and handheld framing typical of home-movie footage.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short cutaway, establishing insert, memory beat, or transition into domestic leisure or affluent residential life.
Historical context: The footage offers visual context for postwar home leisure, outdoor living, and residential landscaping without identifying the owners or address.
Research note: People appear at a distance and the residence is visible, so likeness and property considerations should be reviewed separately from copyright status.
Research search match: Searches such as 1950s 8mm home movie swimming pool, New Mexico stucco house garden, or mid-century residential exterior may match this clip.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with New Mexico 1953 material, then with 1950s home, pool, garden, and outdoor leisure scenes.
