Shot on 8mm film in 1984, this vintage footage captures a fast-moving speedboat slicing through a tropical river in Thailand. The boat, with a person in a light-colored shirt and hat, creates a dramatic wake as it passes traditional stilt houses built along the riverbanks. Lush palm trees and dense greenery frame the scene, with rustic wooden structures and corrugated roofs visible under bright daylight. The film exhibits natural grain and slight color fading, characteristic of home movie footage from the era. This authentic slice of life offers a nostalgic glimpse into rural Thai river life.
