1963: A grainy 8mm home movie captures a family on a summer road trip in the French Alps, stopping to admire snow-covered mountain peaks. A man and woman stand beside their car on a tarmac road, with a child nearby, all dressed in light summer clothing despite the snow. The scene shows a rugged landscape of grass, rocks, and stone, with a fence and pole visible along the roadside. The vintage footage, shot on Super 8, evokes nostalgia and the charm of mid-century family travel in France.
