1937 vintage 8mm film footage from Cambridge, Massachusetts, showing Harvard University students removing ice skates on the shore of a frozen river. The scene captures a winter afternoon with young men and boys relaxing after ice skating, untying their equipment and walking away from the frozen pond. Dressed in 1930s casual wear, they appear jolly and at ease, enjoying a cold, snowy day outdoors. The natural lighting and grainy film quality highlight the authentic archival charm of this historical moment, offering a nostalgic glimpse into student life and winter recreation at Harvard during the Great Depression era.
