Shot on 8mm film in 1956, this vintage home movie captures a hunting trip in Lubbock, Texas. A group of men and a young boy ride in the back of a white pickup truck across a dry, open field. Several men hold rifles, and a dog sits among them. The boy, wearing a plaid shirt and cap, holds a rifle as the truck moves through the rural landscape. The footage shows natural film grain and color fading typical of mid-century home movies, offering a nostalgic glimpse into American hunting culture.
