Mother Feeding Baby in Sunny Backyard — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie from 1962 captures a tender moment in Glendale, California, as a mother in a pink collared dress gently feeds her young child in a sun-drenched backyard. The baby, dressed in a light blue and white outfit, sits calmly in her arms as she uses a spoon to feed him. The scene is framed by lush greenery and vibrant red bougainvillea flowers against a white stucco wall, with the warm, slightly faded colors and visible film grain characteristic of Super 8 footage. The mother’s pearl earrings and styled dark hair reflect the era’s fashion, creating an intimate, nostalgic snapshot of mid-century family life.
