Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1960s Utah home-movie footage for edits needing outdoor recreation, swimming, waterfall visitation, or casual male leisure scenes.
Period detail: The plaid swim trunks, tank top, swim cap, and handheld 8mm look support a late-1960s leisure setting without identifying a specific site.
Home-movie behavior: Men gather, wade, talk, and shield their heads from spray in an unstaged visitor perspective near a natural pool.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adult men in swimwear, a rocky pool edge, falling water, mist, shaded rock walls, wet ground, and sunlit bodies.
Film character: The clip has dense 8mm grain, soft focus, high contrast shade, slight exposure variation, and handheld framing typical of scanned home-movie film.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a brief cutaway, memory beat, travel insert, or transition into 1960s summer recreation material.
Historical context: The footage shows informal outdoor swimming and sightseeing behavior in a natural setting, with men dressed for warm-weather recreation.
Research note: Adult faces and bodies are visible, so likeness review may be needed separately from copyright, with no logos or private property evident in these frames.
Research search match: Useful searches include 1969 Utah 8mm waterfall swimming, 1960s men in swimwear, home movie natural pool, and vintage outdoor recreation footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Utah 1969 travel footage, then broader 1960s swimming or waterfall recreation scenes.
