Men And Women Relax In River On Warm Summer Day — Clip Details

UTAH-1969: A group of people relax in a shallow river on a warm summer day, captured on vintage 8mm film. Men and women in swimsuits and sun hats float and lounge in the water, some reclining on the rocky riverbed. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s editorial requests needing Utah home-movie footage of informal summer recreation, river bathing, and adult leisure outdoors.
Period detail: Swim caps, sun hats, modest trunks, and faded color 8mm texture support a late-1960s home-movie setting, with Utah and 1969 taken from supplied clip metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The value is candid, unstaged relaxation as adults recline, sit, and talk in shallow moving water while the camera observes from nearby.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adults in swimsuits, sun hats, a shallow river, rocky shoreline, reclining figures, rippling water, and strong midday light.
Film character: The clip has soft 8mm grain, uneven exposure, saturated reds and purples, slight blur, and contact-print framing that reinforce its physical home-movie origin.
Edit role: Editors could use this as a brief summer recreation insert, memory beat, lifestyle cutaway, or transition within a sequence about travel, leisure, or outdoor bathing.
Historical context: The footage shows casual mixed-gender adult recreation in a natural river setting, offering visual context for informal American leisure practices of the period.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos or private property are apparent, and copyright status must be assessed separately.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1969 Utah 8mm river swimming, vintage home movie summer recreation, adults relaxing in shallow water, and 1960s outdoor leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with neighboring shots from the same reel, then other Utah 1969 material, then broader 1960s home-movie scenes of swimming, rivers, and summer travel.
