Filming The Washington Monument And The Supreme Court... — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1961, this vintage home movie captures the Washington Monument rising above the Tidal Basin, followed by views of the Supreme Court building with a small plane flying across the sky. The footage shows classic mid-century American architecture, including the iconic neoclassical columns of the Supreme Court, with a tree visible in the foreground.
