Family Gathering and Meal in Tabgha, Israel — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1976, this vintage home movie captures a large American family gathering in Tabgha, Israel. The footage shows a group portrait with adults and children posed together, followed by a scene of the family seated at a dining table sharing a meal. The warm, faded color palette and soft focus reflect the era's home movie aesthetic, with visible film grain and slight motion blur. The subjects wear typical 1970s clothing, and the setting suggests a casual, intimate celebration. This archival footage offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-century family life and travel.
