Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s 8mm travel footage for documentary or editorial sequences needing a quiet boat-view cutaway on the Sea of Galilee shoreline.
Period detail: The 1976 home-movie format, soft color, passenger viewpoint, and simple boat rail may show mid-1970s tourist filming rather than staged production coverage.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves an unstaged passenger perspective as someone with glasses watches the rocky, tree-lined shore pass from inside the boat.
What appears in frame: Visible details include calm lake water, a boat rail, a passenger's head and glasses, rocky shoreline, green grass, yellow flowers, trees, and a wooden cross.
Film character: The 8mm scan carries fine grain, slight color fading, handheld framing, soft focus, and exposure shifts typical of physical home-movie film.
Edit role: Editors could use this as a travel insert, reflective transition, shoreline cutaway, or memory beat within Israel, pilgrimage, tourism, or lake-journey sequences.
Historical context: The footage offers visual context for leisure travel on the Sea of Galilee, with the camera observing shoreline features from a moving boat.
Research note: People are visible in partial profile, so likeness review may be needed; no logos are apparent, while copyright and location permissions remain separate checks.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1976 8mm Sea of Galilee boat footage, Israel home movie lake shoreline, and tourist boat view with rocks and trees.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1976 Sea of Galilee or Israel travel footage, then broader boat, lake, and shoreline home movies.
