Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s 8mm travel footage for documentary or education projects needing a calm boat-view passage on the Sea of Galilee.
Period detail: The frames may show 1970s visitor-shot lake travel, with a boat window or rail framing the shoreline and no visible modern signage or branding.
Home-movie behavior: The clip carries an unstaged passenger perspective, watching the lake and shoreline from inside or beside a moving boat.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include calm lake water, distant green shore, hills, a small pale building, boat framing, a rocky islet, grass, trees, and a passenger hand on the rail.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows soft focus, visible grain, mild color fading, gate edges, dust marks, and handheld framing consistent with home-movie travel footage.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a quiet establishing insert, travel transition, shoreline cutaway, or reflective memory beat within a Galilee or Israel sequence.
Historical context: The footage documents leisure or visitor movement by boat across the Sea of Galilee, emphasizing landscape and shoreline rather than a staged event.
Research note: People are minimally visible at the boat edge, so likeness review may be needed even though no logos, music, or clear private property are apparent.
Research search match: Useful searches include 1976 Sea of Galilee 8mm boat footage, Israel lake home movie, Galilee shoreline cutaway, and rocky islet travel film.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then Sea of Galilee or Israel footage from 1976, then broader 1970s lake travel and boat-view material.
