Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s Australian industrial archive requests needing oil infrastructure, storage tanks, or workplace exterior cutaways for documentary and educational edits.
Period detail: The large painted tank, simple white utility building, and 8mm color stock may show mid-1960s industrial-site design around Brisbane.
Home-movie behavior: The viewpoint feels like a visitor or worker briefly recording an oil facility from outside, including a wide view with two people near the entrance.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a Moonie Oil storage tank, Union Kern A-O-C lettering, ladderwork, blue sky, a smaller tank, a white industrial building, gravel ground, and two adults.
Film character: The clip carries 8mm grain, blue color shift, mild exposure variation, and contact-frame softness that read as authentic physical-film texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as an industrial-establishing insert, oil-sector cutaway, location transition, or brief memory beat in a 1960s Australia sequence.
Historical context: The footage visually documents oil storage and facility exteriors without proving ownership, operations, or the specific role of the people shown.
Research note: Visible brand markings and identifiable adults may require separate review for trademark, likeness, location, and editorial-use considerations.
Research search match: Likely search matches include 1967 Brisbane oil tank footage, Moonie Oil storage tank, Australian industrial facility 8mm, and 1960s oil industry exterior.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with Brisbane 1967 material, and finally with 1960s Australian industry or energy-infrastructure footage.
