Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures a family exploring a forest in Yellowstone Wyoming. A woman in a light-colored dress carries a young child while other children, including one in a dark sweater with a white collar, walk nearby. The footage shows a natural, sun-dappled woodland with tall trees and a stone ledge, rendered in the characteristic blue-purple color cast and grain of Super 8 film. The handheld camera follows the family as they move through the scenic landscape, evoking a sense of nostalgic Americana and mid-century family adventure.
