Shot on 8mm film in 1946, this black and white home movie captures a woman in a dark dress and white stockings running down a tree-lined suburban sidewalk, chasing a small child. The grainy, high-contrast footage shows the woman moving toward the camera while the child runs ahead, with houses and bare trees visible in the background. The handheld camera follows the action, creating a candid, nostalgic moment from mid-20th century America.
