Shot on 8mm film in 1969, this vintage home movie captures a school parade in Lynbrook, New York. A group of students marches down a street carrying flags, including the American flag, and a banner for Our Lady of Peace School. The footage has a distinct purple color cast and grainy texture characteristic of Super 8 film from the era. Spectators line the route as the procession moves forward under an overcast sky, with trees and streetlights visible in the background. This archival clip offers authentic 1960s Americana and community life.
