Shot on 8mm film in 1969, this vintage home movie captures a school parade in Lynbrook, New York. Two young girls in uniform march down a sunlit street, carrying a banner for Our Lady of Peace School. The footage, bathed in a distinct purple hue, shows a lively crowd lining the route and other participants in the procession. The grainy, nostalgic quality and slight camera shake evoke a personal, archival feel, perfect for historical or nostalgic content.
