A young girl in a white marching band uniform with a plumed hat performs in a parade on a suburban street in Lynbrook, New York, in 1969. Shot on 8mm film, the footage has a distinct purple color cast and grainy texture typical of vintage home movies. She smiles and twirls a baton as other band members and spectators, including a nun, walk behind her. Classic 1960s suburban homes and cars line the street under an overcast sky.
