Tree Covered In Snow And Ducks Swimming In Lake — Clip Details

WISCONSIN-1971: A frost-covered evergreen tree stands in a snowy yard beside a white house, its branches encased in a delicate layer of ice crystals. The scene shifts to a frozen lake where a flock of ducks swims in an open patch of water beneath a snow-dusted wooden pier. Shot on 8mm film, this vintage home movie captures the quiet beauty of a winter day with natural film grain and authentic color tones from the early 1970s.

Archive brief fit: 1970s Wisconsin winter home-movie footage for documentary, museum, education, or commercial edits needing snowbound nature and wildlife atmosphere.
Period detail: The white house exterior, wooden pier, 8mm color, and snow-covered yard may show an early-1970s Upper Midwest residential lakeside setting.
Home-movie behavior: The camera observes quietly from a household vantage point, moving from a frost-coated evergreen to ducks gathered in open winter water.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include an icy evergreen, snow-covered yard, white house wall, bare trees, wooden pier, frozen lake edge, open water, and swimming ducks.
Film character: The footage carries natural 8mm grain, cool winter color, soft focus, and slight handheld framing consistent with scanned home-movie film.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a winter establishing insert, seasonal transition, nature cutaway, or quiet memory beat between family scenes.
Historical context: The clip reflects ordinary residential winter scenery and backyard or lakeside wildlife observation in Wisconsin, without visible people or public events.
Research note: No people, faces, logos, or readable brands are visible, but copyright, location context, and any property permissions should be assessed separately.
