Men Swimming In Pool With Toys On Sunny Day — Clip Details

INDIANA-1959: Men enjoy a sunny day swimming in a backyard pool, captured on vintage 8mm film. One man swims with a black inner tube while another stands in the water, both relaxing in the warm sun. The pool is surrounded by lush green hedges and a potted palm tree, with a blue-tiled border visible. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s Indiana home-movie requests needing backyard swimming, leisure, or summer recreation footage with visible adults.
Period detail: The scene may show a late-1950s domestic pool setting, with swim trunks, an inner tube, tiled pool edge, hedges, and a potted palm as visible period clues.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in unstaged poolside relaxation, with men swimming, standing, and drifting in the water as a family camera observes casually.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adult men in a swimming pool, a black inner tube, pale pool coping, blue tile, hedges, a potted palm, and soft sunlit water.
Film character: The 8mm scan has soft focus, faded color, grain, gate edges, and mild exposure variation that read as authentic home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, summer transition, leisure cutaway, or memory beat within a family, suburban, or midcentury recreation sequence.
Historical context: The clip reflects private outdoor leisure and casual adult swimming in a residential-style setting without supporting a specific event or public venue.
Research note: Adult faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos are apparent, and copyright, likeness, and property considerations remain separate.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1950s Indiana 8mm pool footage, men swimming home movie, backyard summer recreation, and vintage inner tube swimming.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Indiana 1959 home movies, then broader 1950s swimming pool or summer leisure footage.
