Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures a family enjoying a summer day at a backyard pool in Indiana. A man and a young boy in a swim cap relax in the water, with the boy floating on an inner tube. The footage shows natural, unscripted moments of leisure and play, with the characteristic blue tint and grain of Super 8 film. The scene is set against a backdrop of greenery and a potted plant, evoking a nostalgic, mid-century American family vacation.
