Adults in Fur Coats Leaving House with Child — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures two adults in thick fur coats and hats walking out of a house in Danielson, Connecticut. One adult carries a young child bundled in winter clothing. The scene transitions from the porch to a snowy street, with snow-covered ground and a residential backdrop. The grainy black-and-white footage shows classic 1930s fashion, including sunglasses and mink coats, evoking a nostalgic, candid moment of family life in winter. The handheld camera movement adds to the authentic, archival feel of this historic home movie.
